John Vetula's Obituary
Traverse City - John Vetula Jr. 81, of Traverse City and formerly of Detroit died September 19, 2017 at Munson Medical Center.
John was born on August 30, 1936 in Ohio to the late John and Anna Vetula.
John served our country honorably as a member of the United States Army.
John was a welder. In his younger years he liked to hunt. He loved taking care of his cats.
On October 21, 1961 he entered into marriage with Judy Zaremba.
John is survived by his four children John, James, Debra and Robert; eleven grandchildren; siblings Ronnie, Richie, Edgar, Rosemarie, Evelyn and Margaret; her dear friend Dale and many other family members and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 11:00 am with Deacon Rene Hoenscheid officiating. John will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Judy at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. He will receive full military honors.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Traverse City Senior Center.
