Dale Morrison, 70, of Traverse City passed away September 13, 2025.

Dale was born on November 20, 1954 in Mt. Clemens to the late James Donald and Ella Eleanor (Schulein) Morrison.

He was raised in the Pinckney area and had many wonderful memories spending time in Hillman during the summer months with his grandparents. He graduated from John Glen High School and then went on to serve our country honorably in the United States Air Force.

A man of many trades, Dale's most passionate career was his remodeling business and carpentry.

On October 8, 1990 he married Cynthia "Cindy" Hyden.

Dale loved to play guitar, go fishing and camping. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends, family reunions at the cabin in Lewiston and wood working. He will be greatly missed.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and sister Gloria Mosher.

Dale is survived by his wife Cindy; children Kristen (Volker) Pitsch, Amy (Christopher Fischbach) Hyden, Shelly (Sta's) Rozanski, Rand Morrison and Patrick Morrison; grandchildren Lena, Jonas, Finley, Kasia, Cordelia, Lennon, Ephraim, Marella, Randi and Bennett; Rand and Patrick's mother Carla Morrison; siblings Jeff (Pam) Morrison, Jim Morrison and Tom Morrison; and many extended family members and friends.

The memorial gathering to celebrate Dale's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation beginning one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cowell Family Cancer Center who helped care for Dale and Cindy in their cancer journeys.
