Florence C Kaltinger, 89, of Maple City and formerly of Lombard, IL, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Maple Valley Nursing Home in Maple City.

Florence was born on Thursday, December 28, 1922 to the late John and Gertrude (Klass) Gutnick in Bensenville, IL. She married Rudolph J. Kaltinger on Saturday, June 22, 1946 in Chicago.

Having lived in this area since 2005, Florence had moved here from Lombard, IL. Prior to her retirement, she had been a circulation manager for a newspaper in Illinois. Florence was a member of The Theosophical Society and enjoyed crocheting and reading about religions.

Florence is survived by her son Rudolph "Rudy" and his wife Mary of Cedar; her grandchildren, Chad (Cathy) Kaltinger and Heather (Tim) Deegan; her great-grandchild, Milo Kaltinger and sisters in law, Josphine Mokittis of Bensenville, IL and Lucille Kaltinger of EauClaire, WI. Florence was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Gertrude.

A funeral mass will take place at 11A.M. Wednesday, May 30 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. James Hayden officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be held at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service time.

Entombment will take place at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
