Grace Evelyn Huffman

TRAVERSE CITY - Grace Evelyn Huffman, 75, of Traverse City, passed away on Feb. 12, 2015. Grace was born on Sept. 14, 1939 in Manistee to the late Frank and Frances May (Walker) Rackow.

She graduated from Mesick High School in 1957. She married her husband the late Richard Huffman in 1962 and the couple raised 3 children together.

Grace worked as a cook for the Interlochen Elementary School, and she especially enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Bonnie (Greg) Eppley of Interlochen; sons, Mark (Tammy) Huffman of Buckley, Edward (Nicole) Huffman of Utah; grandchildren, Shawn, Faith, Abigale, Victoria, Amanda, Lindsey and Ember.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Spring at the Cleon Township Cemetery.
