Ina M. Hilty's Obituary
Ina Hilty of Traverse City, passed away on Oct. 23, 2014 at the age of 78, with her family at her side.
Ina emigrated from Sweden in 1959. She was married to Bruce Hilty for over 52 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and "grannie." Her greatest joy was her family and she will be deeply mourned. Ina cherished her friends and she will be very missed by them, as well.
Ina is survived by her husband; son, Steve of Virginia; daughter, Marie (Glenn) Smith of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Suzanne Smith and Douglas Smith.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Bradley Evans and Rev. Dr. Bill Meyers for their dedicated care and support.
A memorial service will be held at The Presbyterian Church of Traverse City, 701 Westminster, on Friday, November 7 beginning at 12 noon. The family will receive visitors in the narthex of the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Per Ina's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a contribution in her name to the Parkinson's Network North, P. O. Box 5734, Traverse City, MI 49696.
The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
