Kenneth William O'Neill, age 94, formerly of Blissfield, Michigan, died on August 25, 2021. He was born November 3, 1926 in Metamora, Ohio to Martin and Edna (Bick) O'Neill. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. On August 14, 1965 at Blessed Sacrament in Toledo, Ohio he married Janet L. Reuscher and she survives. Kenneth was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Blissfield.
In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by daughter, Molly (Charles) Klettner of Traverse City; sons, Patrick O'Neill of Chicago, IL and Stephen (Teresa) O'Neill of Owosso, MI; son-in-law, Paul Conner of West Des Moines, IA; brother, Lester O'Neill of Maumee, OH; sister, Patricia (Larry) Zonsius of Huntley, IL; and grandchildren, Michael and Kelly Klettner, Sean, Scott, and Kevin Conner, and Ryan and Grace O'Neill. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kathleen "Casey" (Paul) Conner of West Des Moines, IA; brother, Harold (Laverne) O'Neill of Whitehouse, OH; and sister Monica "Sally" Szewczak of Toledo, OH.
The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1025 S. Union Street, Traverse City, 49684. Visitation will precede Mass from 10:00 am to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church. Burial will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield, Michigan on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
