It is with deep sorrow we mourn the passing of our mother and friend, Marnie Gossett of Westfield, IN on June 1. Marnie was born and raised in Reed City, MI on December 18, 1945. She reunited with her devoted husband on June 1, 2025.
Marnie and her husband, Jack, raised their daughters in Carmel, Indiana. Later, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren's concerts, plays and sporting events. She took great pride of her Michigan roots and enjoyed creating family memories at their cottage. Outdoor activities were an important part of Marnie's life. She particularly enjoyed outdoor walks, Nordic and downhill skiing.
Friendships were greatly treasured and genuinely cherished. She devoted many years volunteering at the Indianapolis Museum of Art where she combined her love of art and teaching. Marnie was also an animal lover.
She will be missed by her daughters Amy (Mike) Boros and Carrie Hannigan; grandchildren Maggie, Henry, Jimmy and Jack.
Marnie was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Jack and sister, Sue Krueger.
