Patricia "Pat" Marie Richard

Patricia “Pat” Marie Richard, 79, of Traverse City, Michigan, went peacefully to the Lord with her family at her side on June 6, 2021. She was born on April 17, 1942 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Lewis and Bessie (Wilbur) Olsen. She graduated from Traverse City High School in 1960. Pat had been employed with the original Flap Jack Shack for 34 years. She later worked as a home health aide for Comfort Keepers for over nine years. Pat was a lifetime member of the Cherryland V.F.W. post 2780. At the V.F.W. she enjoyed working in the kitchen and on BINGO nights. She was also a member of the Eagles Club. Pat like to knit, crochet and was a Detroit Tigers fan. She started bowling in 1982, playing as recently as this past year. She was involved both ladies and mixed leagues. She was the secretary / treasurer of the Tuesday morning ladies league for over ten years. Patricia is survived her four children; Dave Seaberg, Jeanette (John) Borgen, Linda Thompson and Tim Seaberg and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Don Olsen, a sister, Pamela Allen, a step-son, Leon (Bill) Richard and a brother-in-law, Raymond Seaberg, Jr. as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two husbands; Robert Seaberg and Leon Richard, two brothers-in-law; Richard G. Seaberg and Pat Allen and a sister-in-law, Jennie Olsen. A memorial service honoring Patricia will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Sojourn Church 1027 McCrae Hill Rd., Traverse City, Michigan 49685. A luncheon will follow at the Cherryland V.F.W. post 2780, 3400 Veterans Dr., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staffs of Munson Medical Centers Floor A-2, the Dialysis Center and Pace North for their loving care of Pat.
