Peter Titta, age 89, passed away on December 8, 2025. Born and raised in Three Rivers, Michigan, he graduated from Michigan State University and University of Michigan Law School. He practiced law in Grand Rapids for 40 years and was a partner at Rhoades- McKee law firm. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Catherine Buerkle, a brother, Louis Bortolon and a sister, Regina Alexeas. He is survived by his wife, Judy, his children Ann (Luke) Gorham, Jane (Kevin) Reed and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Stephanie Buerkle, Colin Reed, and Sarah and Emily Gorham. Other survivors include brothers in law Peter Alexeas and John (Nancy) Widman and nieces Karen and Jennifer.
A private family service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Van Andel Institute for Medical Research.
