Vincent Chiaravalli of Traverse City, Michigan, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born to Aldreno and Rosina (Corsini) Chiaravalli on February 29, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan.

Vince's parents immigrated to Detroit, Michigan from Gagliano Aterno, Italy. Vince was born into a large Italian family with relatives throughout Hamilton, Canada, and the Southeast Michigan area. Vince was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and worked in commercial real estate.

Vince enjoyed sports, travel, and gardening. He was also an avid book collector. In his free time he would travel to various book shows and work on growing his collection which includes thousands of books from antiquarian, fiction, spiritual, science fiction, and many more genres. He collected sports memorabilia and mementos from lighthouses all over Michigan. Over the years, Vince took many trips for leisure, with England being one of his favorite places to visit, most recently in May of 2022. Vince was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic church.

Vince was a beloved friend, brother, father, and grandfather and is survived by his loving children, Pamela (Eric) Dilno, Michael Chiaravalli, and Nicole Chiaravalli, grandchildren Sophia (10) and Landon (7) Dilno, sister Dina LeHeup, and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and many other aunts and uncles.

There will be a time of visitation from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, Michigan 49684. A brief prayer service will immediately follow at the funeral home.
