Ann T. Pearson, 83, of Elk Rapids passed away peacefully on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Munson Medical Center. Ann Cahill was born on June 27, 1938 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Robert and Romilda (Bohlander) Cahill. She married the love of her life Fred Pearson on October 18, 1958.

Ann was a 1956 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Affectionately known as "Gram" or "Grandma Shoot," Ann had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved a good glass of red wine and going to Florida for the "sisters' weekend." She also enjoyed playing cards, swimming or just being on the water. Above all, spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Ann's beautiful smile made everyone feel welcome.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Fred, a daughter and two sons; Karen (Pat) Miller, John (Michelle) Pearson and Jim (Vanessa Lubitz) Pearson. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Katie, Matthew, Jack, Caitlin, Kandice, Marsha, Brittany, David and Tiara, and great-grandchildren; Harper, Hadley, Amaya, Lilian, Kayla, Jaxsen, Anthony, James, Serenity, Dakota, Braylin and Seraphina, as well as four sisters; Sue (Dave) Roof, Sally Mettler, Linda Rost, and Patricia Pope.

Ann was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Platz.

In accordance with Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A service is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation, c/o Karen Miller, 10199 Elk Lake Tr., Williamsburg, Michigan 49690, funds will be used to purchase a park bench honoring Ann in Elk Rapids Day Park.
