Audrey Jane Maison, 94, a lifelong Traverse City resident died November 28, 2019.

Audrey Jane Forton was born on December 6, 1924 to parents Grace Skidmore and Jesse Forton. She grew up in Traverse City and married Donald Maison. She worked at Burke Lures and Cherry Growers. Additionally, she was a friendly neighbor at King's Court for over 35 years. Audrey enjoyed collecting anything related to elephants and playing bingo. She also attended St. Francis Catholic Church for many years.

Audrey is survived by her sons David and Nick Maison, daughter Carol Garner, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister Ida Hanell.

She is preceded in death by husband Donald Maison, sons Michael Maison, Donn Maison, infant twin sons Terry and Craig, and siblings Steve Forton, Philip Forton, Evelyn Wysocki, Margaret Courtade, and Maxine Mullin.

In accordance with Audrey's wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Audrey J. Maison Memorial Fund.
