David Joseph Ockert's Obituary
David Joseph Ockert, 63, of Kingsley passed away October 1, 2019 at Medilodge. David was born August 5, 1956 at Munson Medical Center to the late Clarence J. and Rita (Duperron) Ockert.
He attended St. Mary's of Hannah during his grade school years and graduated from Kingsley High School.
David worked at Burwood's Products, C&H Maintenance, and for FEMA when Katrina came thru.
He enjoyed tinkering with his computers and playing his music. He loved to go for a ride in his Honda to the Casino and most importantly to family gatherings. He enjoyed life.
David is survived by his siblings, Eleanore "Ellie" Kiessel, Gene (Coral) Ockert, Al J. Ockert, Michael (Trish) Case; 2 nieces, 4 nephews and numerous cousins.
Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later time at the St. Mary's of Hannah Cemetery.
