Ed Narva, 86 of Maple City died September 23, 2019 at the Medilodge in Leelanau County.
Ed was born on December 31, 1932 to the late Mike and Olga (Hill) Narva in Worchester, MA.
Ed served our country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1950 -1954.
On June 16, 1956 Ed married Helen Marie Molitor in Lake City.
Ed was a conservation officer for Leelanau County for 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, gardening and being out doors. He was a member of the DNR Association.
Ed is survived by his wife of 67 years Helen; sons Kenneth (Ellen) Narva, Daniel (Paula) Narva and Timothy (Donna) Narva; grandchildren Ian, Evan, Steven, Michael, Alex and Edwin; and brother Bernard (Dolores) Narva.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dorothy Palmer.
The funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday September 27, 2019 at 10:30 am with visitation one hour prior at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
Private family graveside services will be held at Cleveland Township Cemetery.
