John Harvey Ashurst, 90, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Orchard Creek Assisted Living.

John was born on October 30, 1932, in Flint, MI to the late Henry and Mary Ashurst. He married Patricia Ann Reid on November 2, 1956, in Flint MI. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful sons Matthew and Scott.

Honorably, John served our Country in the United States Army and was stationed in Italy.

When he returned from the service he worked for General Motors as a Millwright.

In his spare time, John enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf and gardening. He was a devoted family man and a very special grandfather to his only grandchild Allison. John will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his wife Pat of sixty-six wonderful years, his sons Matthew (Karen) Ashurst and Scott (Sheryl) Ashurst and granddaughter Allison Ashurst.
