Lee C. Hanson, 76, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at his home. Lee was born on February 7, 1944 in Pontiac, Michigan. He was raised in Franklin, Michigan by his loving parents Carl and Wilma (Wood) Hanson. He married the love of his life, Catherine Alexander on November 7, 1965. Lee had been employed as a mechanic with General Motors and later with Skilled Manufacturing until his retirement. He loved old cars and was very proud to be part of the team that restored the Oleson's Model A truck for NMC.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Catherine, two daughters; Tricia (Rob Wilhite) Hanson and Terry (Chris) Ashmore, a brother, Byron (Christine) Hanson as well as four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with Lee's wishes cremation and private family services have taken place.
