Louise Mary Flaim Lee

March 26, 1933 - April 7, 2022

Louise Mary Flaim Lee, 89, of Traverse City, Michigan and formerly of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at French Manor with her loving family at her side. Louise was born on March 26, 1933 in Hazleton, PA to the late Henry and Sadie (Sessock) Flaim. She was the absolutely adored only child and apple of her parents eye. After high school, she graduated from Hahnemann School of Nursing in Pennsylvania. She retired from Clarks Summit State Hospital. Louise raised 5 beloved children. She was a wonderful mother, known for her kindness, her boundless generosity, and her sense of humor. As a young woman, she loved to dance and made a world class cheesecake. She adored animals, and always had a pet by her side, especially pugs. During her time as a nurse, she often opened her home to people that she met who needed a place for the holiday or a warm meal. Louise will be forever remembered for the love of her family, her devotion to nursing, and her warm soul. Surviving Louise are her children; Judy (Tim) Radke, Caroline Kulczyk, Christine (Doug) Sinclair, Diane (George) Krupka, R. Stephen Lee and her grandchildren; Katherine Lacy, Jack Krupka, Meghan Sinclair, Campbell Sinclair, Ben Krupka, and Caroline Krupka. Louise is preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law James Kulczyk. Memorial services will happen at a later time in Pennsylvania. Her family is being cared for by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
