Marilyn Kay Wilmot, 76, of Kewadin passed away October 9, 2020.

Marilyn was born on January 12, 1944 in Lansing, MI, to the late Dale and Beatrice (Pethrick) O'Donnell. She married Charles Arthur Wilmot on June 19, 1965 in Clio, MI. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful children Brian and Laura.

Marilyn received her nursing degree from the University of Michigan and Hurley School of Nursing and went on to earn her Masters in Nursing from Wayne State. She taught Nursing for 20 years thru North Central Michigan College. Also, she was the founder of the Professional Clinical Research Company in Traverse City.

Marilyn loved tending to her beautiful flower gardens. Most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Marilyn will be remembered for her love of flowers, amazing ability to teach, love of nursing and most of all her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Marilyn is her husband Charlie, son Brian (Emily) Wilmot, Laura (Fiancé Dave Harwood) Jackson; grandchildren, Jared, Cody, Jordan, Carter, Katie and Connor and many other loving family members and friends.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her grandson Jacob and son-in-law Jim Jackson.
