Marlene Ann Krause

Marlene Ann Krause, 74, of Wellston, passed away May 10, 2022 at Munson Medical Center. Marlene was born on April 23, 1948 in Detroit to the late Stanley John and Mildred Mary (Shavatoski) Flisnik. Marlene was a nail technician for many years. During her retirment she volunteered at the school in Bear Lake, spent time playing cards and games with her girlfriends, shopped and enjoyed her lake view. Throughout her life, Marlene's Catholic faith was important to her. She also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Trips to the casino were always highlights of her week as she loved to play the slots. Her fun spirit and caring heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and husband Russell Krause. Marlene is survived by her son Scott (Brenda Beiring-Martell) Beiring; grandchildren Sabrina Beiring and Brandon Martell; sister Ann Marie (Mark) Santo; brother Bruce (Mary) Flisnik; step children Janice (Gary) Vest, Joyce (Rich) Hirsch, Lucy (Larry) Champoux, Bonnie (Craig) Shefferly, Judy Schoeben and Dusty Krause; and boyfriend Sheldon Pease. The celebration of life to honor Marlene and interment at the Cadillac Cemetery in Westland will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to Munson Health Hospice or to Bear Lake Promoters.
