Paulette Marie (Walkosak) Kloes passed away March 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Alyce and Edward Walkosak on July 6, 1957 in Youngstown, OH.
Paulette was born and raised in Campbell, OH, where she went on to study nursing at Youngstown State University. There she met the love of her life, Randy, whom she married June 30, 1979. After graduation and several years of nursing experience, they moved to Midland, MI and she started her career in occupational health at The Dow Chemical Company. She grew to become a well-loved and respected member of the team, where she stayed for 32 years.
After implementing a new electronic medical record system for the occupational health group at Dow, she was recruited to become a member of the team at Medical Informatics Engineering, where she played an instrumental role in implementing their product. Following retirement from Dow Chemical, Paulette and Randy moved to Traverse City, Michigan.
Paulette showed her joy and love for cooking with those she cared about. She shared this love with her community at St. Joseph Catholic Church, managing the kitchen for many events. She also belonged to the St. Joseph Women's Guild, as well as the Old Mission Women's Club.
She was a beloved grandmother to her three granddaughters, and enjoyed spending time with them.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Randall; daughter Kelsey (Tim) Brown, and granddaughters Mila, Lucy, and Quinn Brown; sister Deborah Kotheimer; nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends she deeply cared for.
Paulette was welcomed into heaven by her Son, Matthew; and her parents Edward and Alyce Walkosak.
Visitation will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12675 Center Road, Traverse City, MI 49686 on Wednesday, March 29 from 10a-11am.
Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church, luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at https://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/
