Ronald L. Dalstra of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. He was born in Detroit on June 29, 1946 to Sidney and Mary Dalstra and lived in St. Clair Shores until 1964.

Ron proudly and courageously served his flag and country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his Honorable discharge, he went on to receive an associate's degree from Ferris State College and worked as a carpenter craftsman his whole life.

Ron is survived by a loving family, and siblings who all loved him and cherished the years they were blessed to spend with him. Ron was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron was a humble man, loyal family man, and friend to many. He touched the lives of many as a friend and helped many people through his selfless acts of service.

Ronald Dalstra will be missed by all of us, but he will never be forgotten.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, relatives and friends may call on the family during a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at which time, under the auspices of the United States Army and the Cherryland VFW Honor Guard, Military honors will be presented. These services will be held at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
