Sharon Sue Teesdale

Sharon Sue Teesdale, 78, of Dimondale, Michigan passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. Sharon Vanderlaan was born on May 14, 1943 in Muskegon Heights, Michigan to the late Kenneth David and Margaret (Bucus) Vanderlaan. She married the love of her life, Thomas Eugene Teesdale on August 31, 1963 in Spring Lake, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2019. Sharon had been employed, as a medical unit coordinator, for Blue Care Network Health Central. Her faith was the center of her life. She was an active member of Dimondale United Methodist Church where she was very involved with the church’s mission projects and, both the Food and Personal Needs Pantries. In her spare time, Sharon enjoyed being in her garden, tending to her peonies and roses. Above all, spending time with her family was her greatest joy. Sharon is survived by her two loving sons; Scott and David (Jennifer) Teesdale and granddaughters, Elizabeth Teesdale and Josefa Teesdale. Also surviving are her in-laws; Ronald (Betty) Teesdale, Robert (Renee) Teesdale, Sandra Dwight and Janet (David) Deboer, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy (Norm) Thompson. A memorial service honoring Sharon will take place at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday April 23, 2022, at Dimondale United Methodist Church, 6801 Creyts Rd., Dimondale, Michigan 48821.
