Vickie Lynn Scramlin

March 4, 1954 - November 24, 2021

Vickie Lynn Scramlin, 67, of Traverse City passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 24, 2021. Vickie was born on March 4, 1954 in Lansing to the late Jack and Ellen (Adams) Knapp. She grew up alongside her siblings Debbie, Randy and Sandy. She married her good friend, Claude Earl Scramlin III on April 14, 2000. Vickie worked for many years as a home health care aide and at Big Dog Sportswear as an assistant manager. Vickie cherished hanging out at her home on the Boardman river with her friends and family. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, cooking, and singing karaoke. She loved the holidays and especially Christmas. She and Claude enjoyed riding Harleys to many events and even made a cross country trip. Vickie will be remembered for her patience, for being selfless and of course as loving, momma Vickie. Vickie is survived by her husband Claude; children Todgrinn (Carli) Hargett, Tiffiny (Kyle) Slown, Travis Hargett, Tarin Hargett; stepchildren Jennifer (Kristy Owens) Scramlin, Claude Earl (Pam) Scramlin IV, Stephanie (Andrew) Gunter and Arthur James Scramlin; and many grandchildren and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the Lupus Foundation or to Relay for Life.
