Aaron Joseph Tomkins, 31 of Mio passed away after an automobile accident on May 1, 2023. Although he passed away on May 9, 2023, he lives on through organ donation. He will never be forgotten.
Aaron was born on August 16, 1991 in Alpena. He graduated from Mio-Ausable High School in 2010. He worked for Smity's Tree Service for almost 11 years, and was a valued member of their grounds service team.
In his free time, Aaron enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished every minute he got to spend with his son Jameson and the rest of his family. He also liked to ride motorcycles and go four-wheelin. He loved country music and had a soft spot in his heart for animals.
Those left to remember him include his parents Carrie Tomkins and Richard Tomkins, son Jameson, brother Jason, fiance Jennifer, grandma Shirley Yuergens and his niece Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jeanne and Ted Tomkins and Richard Yuergens.
The family will celebrate his life privately.
