TRAVERSE CITY — Ada Dorothy M. Petersen Russell, 89, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Tendercare surrounded by her loving family. Ada was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harry Petersen; second husband, Harry Russell; granddaughter, Margaret Petersen; and two sisters, Leona Sladek and Geneva Burick.
Visitation will be held for Ada today, May 6, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
