Albert Charles Joseph, 89, of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Interlochen passed away Monday, July 18, 2016.

Albert was born March 12, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Charles and Angela (Kallab) Joseph. After graduating from high school Albert enlisted in the United States Navy, serving 4 years active duty and 6 years in the naval reserves. He married Rose Vassallo on May 30, 1950 at St. Maron in Detroit, MI.

Albert was a meat cutter and owned his own meat market, Albert's Meat Market. He also worked as a salesman for PepsiCo and retired from there in the mid-1980s. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time with his family. After retirement, he devoted much of his time to volunteering. He was an usher at St. Patrick Catholic Church and was a member of the Lake Ann Lions Club for over 30 years.

Albert is survived by his wife Rose of Las Vegas; daughter Christine (Robert) Poniatowski of Las Vegas; brother Theodore Joseph; grandchildren Wendi Macapinlac, Rebecca Pessel; great grandchildren Natalie Selvey, Rose Macapinlac, Ella Macapinlac, Lily Macapinlac.

Albert was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Angela Joseph; son Kenneth Joseph; brothers Annis Joseph and Edward Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Father Greg McCallum will officiate the service. The family will have a public inurnment, with Navy military honors, on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:30 am at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
