Albert Lynn Scott, age 82, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at home with family by his side.

Albert was born and raised in Central Lake, MI. He was a self-employed Tile Setter and beef, corn, and hay Farmer for many years. He enjoyed deer hunting and gardening.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Gleason & Letitia (Purdy) Scott; brothers, Gleason "Junior", Jack, Chuck, Bruce, Willard, Ralph, Bill; and sister, Yvonne.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Scott; children, Aubrey (Scott) Smith, Bradley Scott, Brent (Kathy) Scott, Brian Scott; grandchildren, Ashley, Dylan, Mackeson, Adelaide, Hennessee, Amelia, T.J., Adam, Rachel, Zachary, Leah, Andrew, Nicole, Emily, Benjamin, Michael, Matthew, Gage, Austin; and sister, Sonya Olds.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice nurses who took great care of Albert in his final days. Thank you, Tara, Kelley, Amanda, Brandi, and Summer.

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St. Traverse City. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 402 W, Ninth St. Traverse City. Family will welcome visitors an hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., also at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
