Alford Joseph Williams, 83, of Williamsburg, Michigan passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Autumn House Assisted Living. Alford was born on July 10, 1941 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Brown) Williams. He married the love of his life, Jeannette Vert on July 28, 1962 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Elk Rapids.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jeannette, his three sons, Alford "AJ" (Irene) Williams, Gerard (Cathryn) Williams and John (Yvonne) Williams. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Allyson, Stami, Brittney, Magan, Michelle and Christina. Eleven great-grandchildren as well as three brothers, George (Wanda) Williams, Richard (Patricia) Williams, and Stanley (Inga) Williams and two sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Boals and Josanne (David) Powell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 143 Charles, Elk Rapids, Michigan 49629. Fr. Cleetus Koochikkatt will officiate. Right of Committal will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Military Honors will be conducted under the auspices of Cherryland V.F.W. post 2780 and American Legion post 35.
