Allen Lee Donnelly

Allen Lee Donnelly, 52 of Kingsley passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at his home.

Allen was born on October 19. 1961 in Traverse City to Timothy Lee and Donna Maxine (Casselman) Donnelly. He married Deborah Lorion on February 5, 1999 in Traverse City.

Allen was a hard worker all of his life. He worked at Tom's Food Markets, drove truck for Hahnenberg Moving and Storage, Cherry Growers, J&S Dairy, Prairie Farms, and most recently Arts Auto Parts. Hunting, fishing, woodworking and Nascar were all hobbies that Allen enjoyed. Most importantly he loved to spend time with his family. He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Allen is his wife Deborah, children, Allee, Scott (Liza) Petersen, Josh (Lindsey) Petersen, Kirt (Chelsea) Grow, Kyle Grow; grandchildren, Hannah, Thomas, Caden, Brandon, Nathan, Gavin, Kamrin, mother Donna, sister Sue (Terry) Wilkins, father and mother in law Bruce and Janette Lorion, brother-in-law Charles Lorion and many other loving family members and friends.

Allen is preceded in death by his father Timothy, and brother Joseph.
Visitation for Allen will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 4-8pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 4pm Monday, March 3, also at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a visitation from 3-4pm. Deacon Rene Hoenschied will officiate.
