Obituary

On December 5th, our dear sweet Alli went to join her family in heaven.

Compassionate, loving, caring and loyal would be just a few words that best describes Alli. You couldn't help but love her from the moment you met her. Her personality was contagious, energetic, funny, outgoing and adventurous. She was our little spitfire.

Alli was up to doing just about anything, with the exception of housework. She was always out and about spending time with good friends, going out to dinner, playing cards, watching movies, shopping, or just hanging out at the beach to enjoy the sun, or a beautiful Lake Michigan sunset. She enjoyed years of fun family trips, and spent hours documenting every moment in her scrap books.

When Alli was at home, she would be hanging out on the sofa surfing her phone and loving her fur babies. She was such an animal lover, which is why she enjoyed visiting the Humane Society to share her love and empathy with the animals. Not surprising she convinced her Mom to adopt a darling little kitten, who needed a new home at the Baker house.

Alli enjoyed her sports and was quite competitive from an early age. She continued her passion for sports and the outdoors by attending the gym every day, playing on her wave runner and hiking. She would top off all that fun with her favorite sport, which was swinging by a fast food restaurant for a junk food fix.

Alli was excited about her future as a nurse, and so was her family. She impressed us with her determination to be part of the nursing program. Her kindness and loyalty to her patients was truly second to none. She made such a difference in their lives, which explains why they so adored her.

But her real foundation came from her Family. She so loved her brothers and sisters and supported their every endeavor, she was their biggest cheerleader. Alli was blessed with loving, crazy fun grandparents, who enjoyed spoiling her, as much as she enjoyed letting them. She had Aunts and Uncles who picked on her, just to watch her laugh. And her adoring parents, who supported and encouraged her to always follow her dreams.

All of us will miss our dear sweet Alli in so many wonderful ways. She touched our lives and our hearts with her compassion, her adventurous spirit for life, her sarcasm, her warm smile and beautiful eyes. And most important, her love, dedication and loyalty to her family and the causes she held dear to her heart. We will miss her every day.

Allison's life and legacy will live on with her precious gift of organ donation, that will touch over 85 lives.

A Memorial Service will be held for Allison at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 3pm with a visitation beginning at 2pm.
