Anders Marshall Anderson was born August 20, 1924 in Ludgington, Michigan to Andrew and Elida Anderson. In 1953, he married Virginia, and they enjoyed fifty-plus years of marriage.
Marshall owned and operated his own bakery in Fenton, MI, where he took pride in baking breads the Swedish way, with lots of love and the spice cardamom. After moving to Traverse City in 1980, he enjoyed many years as a baker at Potter's.
Marshall liked to hunt and went on many hunting trips with his beloved Brittany spaniels. In his later years, he enjoyed Dixieland music, and frequently attended events featuring the Backroom Dixieland Band, toe-tapping to the music.
Marshall was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, his brother Morgan, and his sisters Alice and Ingrid. He is survived by his nephew Marc (Linda) Anderson of Ludington, and niece Cheryl Higginson of Ludington. Also surviving are many great-nieces and nephews who all knew him as Uncle Bunny.
He is also survived by his last loving canine companion, Lucy, a Brittany spaniel rescue dog.
Marshall will be remembered privately by his family and dear friends.
