Angela Rose O'Brien was born March 15, 1990 in North Carolina. Angie was adopted by the O'Brien family in 1994. Angie was the comedic relief and reason to keep going on a bad day because no matter what, she provided her family with God's purpose on earth, to take care of one another. We thought we were taking care of Angie, but in actuality she was taking care of all of us. Angie would often "boss" people around, making sure everyone knew she was the mother hen. Angie ejoyed listening to music on her MP3 player, dancing, playing basketball, painting on the computer and flying kites. Angie enjoyed school; which she attended at the Adult Work Center, her favorite was visiting with classmates (keeping tabs on everyone), running errands, walking club and especially getting dressed for prom. Her family will miss her smile, belly laugh and ability to turn any situation into a positive experience.
Angie is survived by her parents, Jeff and Amy O'Brien, brothers; Andrew, Adam, Trevor and Aaron, sisters; Abby and Nikki her "baby girl" niece3 Isabella and her beloved labradoodle, Fudge. She is also survived by her grandparents Devere and Beverly Willey of Traverse City, many aunts uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Yvonne O'Brien, cousins Danyelle and Alyssa Randall and her uncle Matthew Schwartz.
In lieu of flowers please help us remember Angie by directing any memorials in her name to Jeff and Amy O'Brien.
