Angeline "Angie" Virginia Jedinak

Angeline Virginia Jedinak, 86, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at her home. Angie was born on August 16, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Salvatore and Josephine (Quattrocchi) Barbaro.

She was a 1958 graduate of Maria High School. Angie then went on to DePaul University and graduated as a Medical Technologist. She continued her career in healthcare for over 40 years. She married the love of her life, David G. Jedinak on May 14, 1966, in Chicago. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2021.

After retirement, Angie and David moved to Traverse City, Michigan from Palos Heights, Illinois. Angie’s life was centered in faith and family; she was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was also super active in the Red Hat Society and enjoyed play Mahjong with her friends. Above all, spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

Angeline is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline (Robert) Bradshaw, a son, James Jedinak (Monica) and three grandchildren, Benjamin Bradshaw, Hannah Bradshaw and Holly Bradshaw. Also surviving are two sisters, Anna (Harold) Sriver and Debra Siwinski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David as well as two brothers, Anthony Barbaro and Charles Barbaro.

Friends are welcome to visit with Angie’s family from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 308 N. Cedar St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. Fr. Anthony Citro will officiate. Rite of Committal will be in Oakwood Diocesan Cemetery.
