Ann K. Begley

Ann K. Begley, 93 of Traverse City passed away Saturday January 18, 2020 at Munson Medical Center.

Ann was born on July 5, 1926 in Muskegon Heights to the late John and Anna Gary. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1943. She married Phillip Bruce Begley and they were married over 61 years prior to his death in 2010.

Ann was a devoted wife and homemaker while her 6 children were growing up. After the children were grown she enjoyed her well-deserved retirement time in Tucson, AZ. She took hula Lessons, hiked, enjoyed golfing and spending time with her friends. Recently she kept busy with puzzles and spending time with her family.

Ann was well loved by all who knew her and will be remembered as loving and accepting of others ideas and thoughts. She was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed.

Surviving Ann are her children; Martin, V. Rev. Fr. Tom (Beth), Ben (Kathleen), Andrew, Adam (Melissa) and Lauren, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mass will take place at 11am on Friday, Jan 24, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church with a visitation held one hour prior at the church. Burial will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in Ann's honor may be directed to the Fr. Fred Foundation or Mass Intentions.
