KINGSLEY — Ann Rita (Potes) Pedersen, 74, of Kingsley, passed away Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Bortz Health Care in Traverse City.Ann was born April 28, 1936, in Detroit, to the late Soren and Olga (Rudolph) Pedersen. She married Thomas H. Potes on Nov. 28, 1959.Ann was a proud Danish woman. She was a dedicated teacher at Central Grade School, Glen Loomis and Traverse City Senior High School. Also, she was a talented artist and an accomplished horse woman. Surviving Ann is her daughter, Margaret Potes (David Steed).Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Inga Porter; and niece, Renee Porter.Per Ann's request, no services are planned.
