Dr. Ann Marie Sundstrom-Salisbury, age 81, passed in peace and went to be with the Lord on
Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at Munson Hospital in Traverse City. Ann was born August 16th,
1937 in Cadillac, Michigan where she would later graduate from Saint Ann's Catholic High
School. From there, Ann went on to become a registered nurse and then furthered her
education to eventually receive her PhD in psychology from the Medical College of Ohio.

Ann spent the majority of her career running a private psychology practice just outside of Toledo
until she retired to Glen Arbor, Michigan. In Glen Arbor, she built her dream home just a small
walk down from Lake Michigan and continued to work part time at both Pine Rest Christian
Mental Health Services and Wedgwood Christian Services into her 70's.

Ann was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire, often serving within the church and several other small groups.

In her younger years, Ann enjoyed both sailing and going to the beach. In later years, Ann
enjoyed reading, spending time with her friends and family, and walking down to Lake Michigan. Due to her kind and sociable personality, she was well known and loved by all whom she encountered; Ann will be thoroughly missed.

Ann is survived by her brothers Jon (Sally) Sundstrom and Bill (Sheryl) Sundstrom and sister,
Cathy (Bart) Helmuth; children Bob (Cassie) Salisbury, Tim Salisbury, and Susan (Dave) Kellar;
her grandchildren, Thome, Rebekah, Brooke, Zak, Parker, and Hanna, and three greatgrandchildren, as well as her loving King Charles Spaniel, Mulligan. Ann is preceded in death by her parents Helen and Floyd Sundstrom.

A visitation for Ann will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a rosary recitation beginning at 7:00 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Father Zeljko Guberovic will officiate. A luncheon will be held immediately following mass in the church fellowship hall. Ann will be laid to rest at St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2019.
