Ann Yanski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and quiet joy.
Ann was born and spent much of her life in Traverse City, where she became a cherished member of her community. She was united in marriage to her devoted husband, Ted Yanski, in 1951, and they shared a loving and enduring partnership until his passing in 2014. Together, they built a life centered on family, commitment, and unwavering support for one another.
Ann found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for gardening, took great enjoyment in working on puzzles, and treasured every moment spent with her family. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, where traditions were honored and lasting memories were created.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Yanski, and her son, John Yanski.
Ann is lovingly survived by her family, including grandsons Stuart Yanski (Jen) and Jason Yanski (Alex), as well as her great-grandsons, Tyler Yanski and Dylan Yanski. She also leaves behind many other relatives and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Ann’s life was a quiet testament to love, resilience, and devotion to family. Her memory will be held close and cherished always by those who knew and loved her.
