Annabell Arlene Stricker

Annabell Arlene Stricker, 102, of Traverse City, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Annabell was born on January 30, 1917 in Canton, OH to the late Oliver and Catherine (Burger) Fashbaugh. She married the late Marvin Stricker on April 16, 1933 in Traverse City. Together they lovingly raised three wonderful children.

Annabell's family moved from Canton, OH to the Traverse City area when she was 7 years old. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church for many years. In her spare time she was known to play a "mean game of Euchre."

Surviving Annabell are her children, Kenneth (Elaine) Stricker, Sandra (Ron Wade) Hayes; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

Annabell is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Ann (Arthur) Secor, brothers Joe Fashbaugh, John Fashbaugh, and Art Fashbaugh, and sister, Vera Otte.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Central United Methodist Church Chapel with a visitation held one hour prior at the church. Interment will take place in the spring at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Central United Methodist Church. The family is being cared for by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
