Anne Achenbach's Obituary
On June 7, 2025 Anne Donlon Achenbach passed away peacefully at her residence at Cordia Commons, Traverse City, MI where she had resided since 2016. She was 94.
Anne was born on October 31, 1930 in New York City to William Donlon and Anna King Donlon. Anne married her husband, Arthur, in 1951 and in 1956 purchased a house in North Massapequa, NY where they raised their four children: Diane (Zatorski), John, Jim, and Jerry. She is survived by her children, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be spread over her husband's grave located in the Long Island NY National Cemetery. Her life and memories will live on through her writing. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Grand Traverse Industries 2170 Traversefield Dr, Traverse City, MI 49686.
