Mrs. Anne S. Paulson

Mrs. Anne S. Paulson of Traverse City entered into rest December 10, 2013 at the age of 87.

Anne was born October 20, 1926 to Andrew and Sophie(Ryding) Aho in Hubbel, MI.. She was a loving wife to Edwin Paulson for 65 years and a loving
Mother to Beverly(Al) Cherundolo of Commerce Township, Wayne(Claudia) Paulson of Traverse City and Karl(Kathy) Paulson of Lake Orion.
And Edward and James Paulson who preceded her in death. She served as grandmother to nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Anne was born and raised in the copper country of the Upper Peninsula and was the first girl in a family of thirteen children to graduate High School. She then moved to the Detroit area to assist her sister with the birth of her child, while there she found work with a Law firm as a paralegal and retired as the owner of the Law firm after 47 years, eventually turning over the business to her nephew.

Anne and Ed moved to Traverse City in 1994 after Ed retired. She was very active in her church in South Lyon and her church here, East Bay Calvary Church, Traverse City Senior Center and Hearts for God. Recently, Anne was recognized with a presidential award for her volunteering of more than 50 years.

Anne was an avid snow skier into her 70's, not only enjoying Michigan and Colorado ski slopes but in Europe as well. She also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 14, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation to start at 2:00 PM
In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Traverse City Senior Center.
