Anthony Dane Case, 20, of Maple City, unexpectedly went home to be with his Creator on Friday, November 2, 2018 as a result of a tragic car accident.
Anthony was born on March 12, 1998 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He graduated from Glen Lake High School, where he played football and was involved in 4-H for many years. After graduation he joined the U. S. Marine Corp and completed boot camp at Parris Island, S.C.
Anthony always had an adventurous soul and was a blessing to all who knew him. He had a heart of gold and would do anything to help those around him. Anthony had a passion for working on all types of vehicles, especially when it was helping family and friends.
He cherished his family and friends more than anything and his smile was contagious. He also loved sight seeing around local areas while hammocking and relaxing. His hugs are unforgettable and his love for his brother, sister and cousins will always be remembered.
Anthony is survived by his Mom and Dad, Kristyn Michele and Daniel Owen Case, II; his siblings, Hunter and Lilly Case; his grandparents Cathy (Jeff) Davidson, Dave Irwin, Dan Case, Terise (Mike) Gavar, Duane Wilks, Diane Nickerson and Jack (Gayle) Kosydar. Anthony is also survived by many great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and a community that will never forget him. Anthony had made a decision to become an organ donor, and through his generous donation through Gift of Life, Anthony will continue to live on through others.
The service celebrating Anthony's life will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at West Side Community Church, with Pastor John Clark officiating. Visitation will begin at the church one hour prior to the service. A luncheon will immediately follow the service.
For those desiring to remember Anthony with a monetary gift, the family asks that you consider The Father Fred Foundation, or Safe Harbor of Grand Traverse, where he and his family have served the homeless for many years.
