Undaunted for nearly a century, Arlene Mae Hall passed away on Saturday October 14, 2023 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City. She was 90 years of age.

Arlene, the fourth eldest of 13 siblings in the Williamsburg Anderson family. She spent her life with one foot in her adoptive city of Lansing, where she spent her career working for the U.S. Postal Service and her other foot "up north" in Williamsburg. After her retirement she returned to be near her family and friends in Elk Rapids.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Hall, her children; Judy Shideler of Rockford, Michigan and Jonathan King, of Ocean City, New Jersey as well as several grandchildren.

A memorial service honoring Arlene will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 10180 Elk Lake Rd, Williamsburg, Michigan 49690.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Heart Association or the Elk Rapids Garden Club.
