Audrey Louise Brunais, 75, passed away September 29, 2020 in Suttons Bay, Michigan.

Audrey lived many lives in her 75 years. Born in Bear Lake, Michigan, on January 20, 1945, Audrey grew up in a family of ten children, with Mom Theresa and Dad Joseph Brunais. After attending Northwestern Michigan College Audrey decided to head West to seek adventure. Over the years Audrey lived in a variety places and found many long-time friends from coast to coast.

Audrey always had great stories about her adventures and many jobs from fruit picker to event promoter. She was a good listener too, genuinely interested in other people's lives.

Multiple Sclerosis slowed her down starting in her late 30's but Audrey maintained her cherished independence for three decades and always found things in life to enjoy. Audrey spent the last several years in the loving care of the kind folks at Medilodge in Suttons Bay. There, she enjoyed Scrabble, news, and keeping the squirrel population well-fed.

Audrey will be missed by friends far and wide, Melissa in Texas, Joan, Debby and Brenda from the California days, Chocolate, Ardy, Donna and Terry, Renate, and many others.

Much gratitude to Lena and the wonderful staff at Medilogde for their loving care. Thank you also to the amazing Hospice volunteers June and Phil, who were there for the long haul. You are all amazing.

No formal service.

In remembrance, plant some flowers and feed the birds and squirrels.
