Barbara J. Fisher, 83, of Traverse City passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Munson Hospice House. Barbara was born on January 16, 1930 to the late Clarence and Nora (Forton) Edenburn. She was married to Jacob Fisher. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2000.

Barbara is survived by her three sons; William J. (Rosetta Pickrell) Fisher, Craig A. (Jackie) Fisher and Jeffrey K. Fisher. Also surviving are five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

We have in our hearts memories of Barbara J. Fisher, the one with a heart of gold and stern family values. She set the standard and foundation for a great loving life. Barbara and her husband Jacob will be cherished, loved and missed by their family and friends today and into the future.

A memorial service honoring Barbara will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, with visiting one hour prior to the service. Dr. Gary Hogue will officiate.
