Barbara "Barb" Lee (Pugsley) Gill, 68, of Traverse City, formerly Long Island, New York, passed away Nov. 21, 2019.

Barb was born Oct. 11, 1951 in Southampton, New York, daughter to Arthur and Barbara (Rollins) Pugsley. After living the majority of her life on Long Island, her two sons moved Barb to Traverse City about 15 years ago so she could be closer to them.

Barb will always be remembered as a dedicated mother and wife; family was everything to her. She loved to keep in touch with family and close friends, spending hours on the phone catching up. She loved shopping in all of its forms and of course, frequenting Turtle Creek Casino.

Barb is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Amy) and James Gill; grandchildren, Christiana and Alexander Gill; mother, Barbara Pugsley; brother, Duane (Peggy) Pugsley; and significant other, David Kilbourne.

She was predeceased by her husband, James R. Gill; and father, Arthur D. Pugsley.

A funeral service honoring Barb will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the funeral and on Friday, Dec. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., also at the funeral home.
