HONOR — Barbara Jean (Beaton) Martindale, 44, of Honor, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010.She was born in Traverse City on June 8, 1966, the daughter of Dick and Shirley Beaton. Barb married Jeffery Todd Martindale on June 26, 1993.She was a loving wife and mother. She was also very devoted to her immediate and extended family. Barb enjoyed camping, canoeing and being outside when the weather was nice, and curling up inside with a good book when it wasn't. She was well loved and will be sorely missed.She is survived by her husband, Jeffery; children, James Paul and Amber Martindale; her parents; a sister, Lynn Beaton; and two brothers, Krag and Kelly Beaton.A celebration of Barb's life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Jowett Family Funeral Homes in Benzonia, with George Getchel officiating.
