Barbara Louise Radcliffe, 80, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022 at Medilodge of GTC with her loving family at her side.
Barb was born on July 18, 1941 in Traverse City to the late Alfred and Virginia L. (Lake) Baynton. She attended school at St. Mary Hannah thru the 11th grade and graduated from TC Central High School. She married the love of her life Wayne Ivan Radcliffe on August 23, 1958. They dated for several years prior to marriage and had a wonderful 66 years together.
Barb worked as a sales clerk for most of her adult life and at the age of 49 she got her daycare license to fill her home with more children to love. She worked with the Seniors of Kingsley and was very active in her churches that she attended. She loved crafts and was very organized. She kept a meticulous home and loved family to come and visit. She was a wonderful, wife, mother, grandmother great grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barb is survived by her beloved husband Wayne of 63 devoted years, her children, Mark (Sue) Radcliffe, Diane Ziets, Michael (Birdie) Radcliffe, grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Radcliffe, Bradley (Anna) Radcliffe, Ben Fish, Molly (Jake) Ervin, Travis (Jennifer) Diehl, great-grandchildren, Catelynn, Madelynn, Hannah, Wyatt, Zachary, Wesley, Stanley, Finley, Mckinley and William. Also surviving is her sister Elaine(Mike) Mezzano and brother Gary (Shannon) Baynton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Perry and Bill and her sister Lorraine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 5-8pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 2pm on Saturday, June 4, at LifePoint Bible Church with a visitation beginning at 1pm.
