Traverse City-Barbara Gray Springer, 71, a retired nursery school teacher of Traverse City, died Monday morning, May 21, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 8, 1941, in Traverse City, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Eunice C. (Gifford) Gray. On September 3, 1961, in Traverse City, she married Jerome K. Springer.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerome K. "Jerry" Springer of Traverse City; children, Todd Springer of Traverse City, Christine (Chris) Corrado of Las Vegas NV, and Michael Springer of Traverse City; siblings, Lou Anne (Bill) Banks of Harbor Springs, Ed Gray of Calumet and Alice (Rod) Koehler of Traverse City and four grandchildren, Noah Springer, Matthew Corrado, Emma Corrado and Ahna Springer, along with many nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be remembered privately by her family.
