Barry passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, in Traverse City, Michigan, surrounded by his daughter, Mailee; his son-in-law, Cary; his grandson, Bennett. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Leah (Krzyminski) Woods; parents Walter and Evelyn (Neinas) Woods of Midland, and sister Alayne (Woods) Berg of Midland. Barry's Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11 a.m. on, March 31, 2017, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 630 W. Silver Lake Road, Traverse City, MI 49685. The Rev. Fr. Greg McCullum and Deacon Rene Hoenschied will officiate. In accordance with Barry's wishes, cremation will follow. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. Barry's family will pray the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church Food Pantry, the Father Fred Foundation or Safe Harbor.
