TRAVERSE CITY - Beatrice Helen Kokko, 87, of Traverse City, passed away at Munson Medical Center and met Jesus on February 13, 2015. She was born January 13, 1928, in Northern Ontario, Canada, to the late Leonard and Alice (Richardson) Cantrill.

Beatrice was an amazing homemaker who delighted in always making things special for her family. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting - especially with watercolors. Beatrice was also gifted with a beautiful voice which she shared with her family and at Long Lake Friends Church where she often led congregational singing. She was an avid reader who was fond of the classics and a good mystery. Above all, she was a student of the scriptures who loved the Lord and trusted Him in all things and for all things. This is her legacy.
Beatrice is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; sons, Warren Kokko of Denver, CO; Bruce (Sara) Kokko of Neenah, WI; her grandchildren, Matthew (Carey), Larisa (Adam) and step-granddaughter Carly.
